植田、盗塁死デビュー「行けたら行こうと。来年は決めたい」

　（阪神６−０巨人、２５回戦、巨人１５勝９敗１分、１日、甲子園）
高卒２年目の植田が六回二死一塁、代走としてプロ初出場した。
今季、ウエスタンで１２盗塁を決め、失敗ゼロ。右翼席の
「走れ、植田」コールにも押されて初球にスタートを切ったが、
アウトとなった。
「行けたら行こうと。力が入りすぎて初めの２、３歩、
つまずいてしまいました」と初々しい。
「けん制やクイックの速い投手でも走れるよう、
フェニックス・リーグやキャンプでやっていきたい。
来年は決めたいです」と力を込めた。

Great to see young talent like Ueta getting his first pro chance! His speed in the minors (12 steals!) is impressive, and the crowd’s energy must’ve been electric. That stumble reminds me of <a href="https://retrobowlfree.com">Retro Bowl</a> &#8212;sometimes the hype makes you fumble the first play! Retro Bowl vibes, but I’m sure he’ll bounce back. Rooting for his steals next season!

Welcome to the big leagues, Ueda! It’s awesome to see young talent getting a shot. That first stolen base attempt can be nerve-wracking! Practice makes perfect, and like mastering the slopes in Snow Rider 3D, persistence will pay off. Keep honing those skills in the Phoenix League and you'll be swiping bags in no time. Speed and strategy are key, just like in the game.

まとめると、高校卒業2年目の上田選手は、6回2アウト1塁の場面で代走としてプロデビュー。今季ウエスタンリーグで12盗塁、失敗ゼロと好成績を残している。右翼席の応援に後押しされ、初球で盗塁を狙ったが、残念ながらタグアウトとなった。
